Little Pig Town 

Rose gave birth to 3 babies to day . 2 hairless and one with hair , just like hers . Unfortunatly , the one with hair didn't make it . It never took it's first breath . I wish I had been there , maybe I could have helped with it , who knows . It was HUGE , and usually that means something is wrong . Rose has no milk , and is awful stressed , since this is her first litter ( and also her last ) . I kept her with her 2 babies ,but she never wanted them around her , so I put her back in with the others in the big cage . I hope she will eat and drink soon , I haven't seen her touch either all day . She was only laying there where her babies were , and they were in one corner , and her in the other . I gave the 2 babies to Blanche , who took them right in , just like they were her own  She cleaned them and loved on them right away . I am helping with hand feeding her littlest one and these two as well , cause I know she can't feed them all on her own or she would . She is in piggie heaven right now , and I am so greatful for a Momma like her to be here for these little ones . I know so little about them , and my nerves aren't like they used to be , so I am about shot now . I will be feeding them every 2 hours . Please pray for these little ones and their Momma's . Here is Rose with her 2 babies . Born 4/17/2015 

Blanche had her 2 babies today , they weigh 2 ozs , and 3 ozs , which is a tad on the low side , but both seem to be doing well . She has milk and is staying right with them .  I will keep her in fresh veggies and all the hay she and her babies can eat . I also keep their food bowl full too . I hope to see the babies eating some hay tomorrow . I have them over in a smaller cage for some privacy  Not sure on the babies sexs yet , but I am thinking they are both females. I will check them in a week and see if I can tell then .At which time I will try to name them  I am so glad they all made it alive . She was huge ! I can't believe there were only these 2 , and they only weighed 5ozs together , She still weighs 30 ozs , and that is after she had them today . Rose on the other hand is already up to 42 ozs ! If she only has 2 babies ,they will both walk out ! LOL !!

Blanche just keeps on getting bigger , and I am worried she won't make it thru her pregnancy or her babies . She is eatting and drinking , but not much else of course . I have her in with 3 more Mommas , and I hope they will help her with the babies if needed . I hear they will . I will if I know when they are being born . I keep checking on her every 30 minutes , but my luck she will have them when I am not here . I know a few things I can do to help , but not much . I met the nicest people over the weekend , and they have taken one of my little males to be with their male piggie . Their male's name was Hippo , so they are gonna call mine Potamus ! LOL !! The two piggies hit it off great , and I think they will become best buddies very soon . Casanova and Pepe are still looking for him , but they too have became closer since he left . Pepe is now getting up in the hammock with Casanova , and they are doing great together . I saw Pepe popcorning on the hammock , he looked like he was on a trampolene ! LOL !! Blanche still hasn't had her babies and I can see them kicking around inside her ! I hopw she has them soon , and most of all I pray they all do well during the process . I am worried silly over them all . She looks miserable , but is eatting and drinking , so it isn't time just yet . Hopefully it will be soon ! 

Ok... both my lil babies are males now . I could have sworn one was a girl , oh well . NOw I am gonna have 3 males together , Casanova and his two sons  I like that better anyway . Now at least they will always have each other , as well as their proud Daddy to play with . I hope my cage will be big enough for them , but if they out grow it , I might add on to it for them or add a upper level for them . Casanova likes to climb , maybe his two youngins will too

I got my new cage set up for Thelma and her 2 babies  It isn't much , but it has everything they need and is bigger than the store bought cage they were in . When the little male is 3 weeks old , I will have to put Thelma and her daughter over in with the older piggies , and put Casanova ( the Dad ) in with him . This will make it a little less traumatic on him I hope . I think it is awful for them to be separated from their mom so early , but they say the little male can get the mom pregnant, and I don't want that ! They are only 8 days old now , so he has a little more time with her and his sister  I hope he makes the best of it . Still working on names for the 2 babies , so if you got any suggestions , let me know . 

Thelma had her babies on 3/18/2015 . Both weighed in 4 ounces each . They are nursing and seem to be doing well . She is a good Momma . Last I checked on them , they were both nursing on her  I think the white one is a male and the other a female , but I am not sure , I didn't want to stress them out to check all that well . These are only a few hours old , and haven't even been cleaned off yet by her . Pardon the blood , but I could not wait to show them off . I'm a piggie granny !!!

Well , they eat the little play houses I got them ( the pink and the blue ones ) , so I went back to hammocks and a square hidey place for them . I tried a triangled house with a bottom in it , but they drug out the bedding all the time and got it coved in shavings , so it went too . They are loving their tunnels , and all have gained weight the past 2 weeks  Dorthy,Rose and Blanche are all 28 oz's now , with Casanova gaining to 24 ozs . He is watching his weight to keep sexy for the ladies I guess. Thelma , one of the younger ones looks like she is pregnant with maybe 2 babies on the way , and is up to 28 ozs as well .  Diamond is up to 16 ozs , as is Pearl , with Lousie coming in at 17 ozs . I am a happy piggie momma now , with all of them doing well and gaining weight . I have added green peppers to their veggies they get each day , and tried seedless grapes , but they didn't go for those. I have them all back on Timothy hay and a better grade of food I got from PetsMart . They get their daily vit.C in their water and I give them a apple each week , divided between them. 

I had a little bit of fabric left over , so I made two tunels for the piggies to play in out of it . Of course mine had to run all over top of it first , then they figured out they could go inside and really have some fun ! Silly piggies . 

I was at the Wal-Mart today and saw the curest lil stuffed pig ever in the toys for the Easter baskets . I know Easter is about the rabbit instead of the pig , but when you got lil piggies , you improvise . Jesus is the REAL reason to celebrate Easter of course , but I am tryin to keep this all piggie  I wondered on over into the fabrics and found some of the cute lil pigs there as well , so I fixed up my piggies cages with these as well as 2 new play cubes for them to hang out in , which they love , and after I left Wal-Mart I hit the Dollar Store , and there were the cutest cows I've seen , so they too are adorning the pippies cages now . They were all watchin me close as I decorated up their once drab cages , and tuened them into more of baby beds for them to enjoy as well as myself . Here are a few pictures of it .
