Welcome !
It is now 2014 , and his is where I will be sharing photos
and stories of my 14
little guinea pigs . Of the 10 girls , 5 are hairless , 3 are
Peruvian , 2 are Swiss and 1 is a American ( Satin ) .
Of the 4 males , 1 is hairless ,1 is a Teddy ,1 is a Swiss , and 1 is
The first piggies I ever had were back in 1985 , named Bud , Weiser and Light . They died from smoke
when my home burned down in 1989 .
In 2014 I rescued 8, the next 3 were babies born here and the last one was from a fellow piggie lover I met
online . Of the 8 piggies I rescued , 2 piggies were born in Aug of 2014 , 2 piggies were born in Nov. of
2014, and 4 piggies were born in Dec. of 2014 .
The surprises started when my male pig discovered the other 7 piggies were female ! Enter the babies ….
next thing I knew 1 piggy was born in March of 2015 , and 1 was born in
April ,and 1 more was born in June of 2015 . I traded 2 of my original hairless piggies and 1 of their
babies that were born here with another of my piggy friends I met online for 3 long haired piggies , a choice
I made that has turned my dryer into a hair net ! LOL !! One of the 3 long haired piggies was preggers
when
I got her and she had 2 male and 1 female baby , and they were Swiss .
In April of 2016 we lost one of the males from a birth defect we knew nothing about . This broke my heart ,
and I still miss him to this day , but I still have these 14 silly piggies to love and care for , so I push on .
I no longer allow any of my males to get near my females ! lol !!
In November of 2016,my friends' home was lost in the flood up in West Virginia , and she came to stay
with me and brought her 6 piggies with her .
Now ..... at 20 piggies , 2 rabbits , a fish and a hairless Chinese Crested dog , that has me at 100%
capacity .... and still have a home myself ! lol !! We do not breed our piggies , and don't recommend anyone
else doing so either, there are plenty piggies out there with no homes that need adopting now .
I will be working on this web site as much as I can , starting in July of 2018 .
Please check back from time to time to see how it is turning out .
I hope to make you laugh and enjoy these little piggies along with me .
The piggies , my Dad and I are one little , happy family .
I care for my piggies expenses and the others if needed as well with God's help , and he is the greatest
provider there ever was or will be . What we need , we always have at my home .God has truely bless us
with healthy piggies . However , they do hide their illnesses very well , being prey animals . So , please make
a list of these items below , and have on hand in case your piggies shows signs of illness on a weekend .
Usually there isn't much time left by the time they let you know something is wrong with them .
In 2019 , we lost Woodstock , he was only 4 years old , Pearl , who was 4 years old and her sister
Diamond followed a few months later at only 4 years old , then Dorthy , who was their Mother passed in
April of 2020 at 6 years old. As if that wasn't enough heart ache , Blanche , who was also a Mother to
Thelma and Louise passed only a few weeks afterwards in 2020 . The oldest pigger we have now if
Casanova , and he is the Dad to the above mentioned babies , as well as Faith and Pepe , who are still here
and still going strong . I pray Casanova makes it to 8 years old , but he is a skinny , and they don't live as
long I hear as the other breeds of piggers do . But I am still hoping . My friend is down to only Dapper,
Butternut, Teddy , and I have Scarlett , Casanova , Faith, Hope, Truffles , Lacey,Romeo and Pepe . So we
have 11 piggies now , and when they are gone , my friend will have their room for her own , and not have to
sleep on the couch .If that ain't love , what is !? In July of 2020 , we lost Scarlett , she fought a long battle
and wanted to stay as long as she could , she was a totally differant piggie in her last months of life . She
loved being held , and was babied until she let go and got her wings . She and Woodstock were the hardest
piggies we have lost out of many . As of now , all the piggies are doing great , even Casanova is in top shape
for his age . I dread losing him , but I know sooner or later , all piggies go to Heaven .
